With effect from 1 January 2023

GST Rate Change

The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has announced that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be increased from 7% to 8% with effect from 1 January 2023. We will update our finance system to comply with this requirement.

To help you better understand how your Flo invoices will be affected by the next GST change on 1 Jan 2023, here’s a quick summary:

If your billing period starts and ends on or before 31 Dec 2022, 7% GST will be charged.
If your billing period starts on or before 31 Dec 2022 and ends on or after 1 Jan 2023, your invoice will contain two GST rates. 7% GST will be charged on electricity consumption up to and until 31 Dec 2022. For electricity consumption on and after 1 Jan 2023, 8% GST will be charged.
If your billing period starts and ends on or after 1 Jan 2023, 8% GST will be charged.
