What happens after I switch to Flo?
After your signup is submitted and approved, Flo will coordinate your electricity supply switch and confirm your contract start date. You do not need to contact SP separately for the switch. Flo will manage the onboarding process and let you know if any additional information or action is required from your side.
No, you do not need to contact SP to switch your electricity supply to Flo. Once your signup is approved, Flo will coordinate the switch for you. If any action is needed from you, our team will contact you directly.
When you switch to Flo, your security deposit with SP Group is not transferred to Flo. Instead, SP Group will split the deposit between your electricity and non-electricity accounts. The portion allocated to your electricity account, which is 65% of the total security deposit, will be used to offset any outstanding charges with SP Group. Any remaining balance may be used to offset future non-electricity charges, or you may request a refund from SP Group.

Flo issues monthly electricity bills based on your actual usage and the electricity rate in your contract. You can view and manage your bills through the FlowSmart Dashboard. For added convenience, you can also set up recurring payments using eGIRO, debit or credit card.
Yes. You can set up recurring payment for your Flo bills through the FlowSmart Dashboard using either eGIRO, debit, or credit card. This helps ensure your monthly payments are made on time automatically.
No. Switching to Flo does not require any physical change to your electricity supply, and there will be no disruption to your power during the switch. The change is administrative and coordinated by Flo so you don’t have to do anything.
Yes. You can switch to Flo whether you are currently buying electricity from SP or another retailer. Your eligibility and start date may depend on your current contract terms, account status, and any applicable notice periods.
You may still receive bills from SP for regulated charges or other SP-related services, such as water or gas. Your electricity consumption charges will be billed by Flo.
Your final bill is based on your electricity usage up to the contract end date, along with any outstanding charges or adjustments under your contract. If you placed a security deposit with Flo, it will be used to offset the final amount payable.
