Chez Suzette
Chez Suzette
Chez Suzette is nestled in a corner of Teck Lim Road, serving comforting food and beverages that align with their vision of creating a home away from home. Working with The Working Capitol, Suzette Simon, the founder, built Chez Suzette from the ground up into a space that beautifully blends retail and F&B.
Sustainable Operations
In running their day-to-day operations at the restaurant, sustainability is a key focus for the team. They aim to offer quality products to consumers while making sure that they come from sustainable source. One of their biggest challenge was finding the right suppliers, but they eventually managed to work with suppliers that share the same vision.
As part of their sustainability efforts, Chez Suzette also practices composting. For instance, they turn leftover coffee grounds into compost and use them as plant fertilizers. This initiative is also appreciated by their guests, and they also give them away to their regulars. This simple yet effective practice reflects their dedication to incorporating eco-friendly practices into various aspects of their business.
I’m very excited about this, and it’s going to be a win-win for The Working Capitol and for us. The transition to renewable energy will have a big effect in our cost and energy efficiency, which will also impact our bottom line.
